Busse Double Jointed Pelham Soft Control 16mm

Double jointed pelham bit from the Busse brand. This pelham has a stronger effect when the horse goes against the rein hips. Once the horse accepts the rein aids, the bit works gently on the tongue. All connecting links are matched to the size and thickness of the bit. The shanks have a length of 50 mm and are made of stainless steel. The impact and strength of the bit depends on the use:

• Headpiece buckled in upper small ring and reins in large ring - medium leverage on tongue, jaw and neck
• Headpiece in upper small ring, pelham strap/connection reins buckled in lower small ring and large ring. Directed reinforcement of aids with leverage on tongue, jaw and neck (by including lower rein).
• Headpiece in upper small ring, a pair of reins each in large and in small lower ring.

The chin chain is included, pelham straps are available separately.
