Please note that this blanket is not designed as a stable blanket. Horses should not be left in the barn for extended periods of time or overnight. The outer fabric is breathable, moisture wicking material and not rip-stop denier, which can cause it to snag. However, this blanket can be used as an under blanket. Due to the technical nature of the fabrics in this blanket, we recommend machine washing this blanket in a large laundry bag to protect the blanket from any rough edges in the washing machine.
